Oil companies spend millions developing different oils every year. I've seen unregistered Peugeot 405's petrol and diesel being tested on different grades of oil in Stanlow under strict laboratory testing. If "any oil will do" why do the evil oil companies pay for this?

Passed its MOT with no advisory's and only 0.60 for the emissions!

I've changed the gearbox oil and the diff oil, plus found a leaking hose off the turbo. Now booked in for a 1pm MOT test.

I received my insurance renewal for a 02 Freelander TD4 from LV and was quoted £905 with 13 years NCD. I've now gone with Adrian Flux for £390. The closest quote was £480 off admiral. Why the big difference in prices?

Can anyone tell me why these lights come on when I've done a 200+ mile journey? There on for 5 mins then don't come back until the next long journey. Around town and such they don't come on. It's a 2002 Td4 Freelander by the way.

I've got exactly the same problem. No leaks and the surrounding carpet is bone dry.
