    Thanks for the reply, I found the cause, and you're right, the bolt holding on the acoustic cover seals the timing cover.     Put the car on a pair of ramps to do an oil change, the back of the undertray had a little more oil on it than normal.     Does anyone know how to get a stuck wheel off. I've obviously removed the bolts :) I tried a piece of wood across the bolts and G clamps through the wheel openings to the back ok the wheel to act as a puller but no joy. Although I couldn't get much force on them. Tried lowering the car...

    I used a thin table knife with a rounded edge thats not sharp to lever it carefully, came out easily with no damage at all. Perhaps they'd been loosened in the past.
