Hi all Am i right in thinking that if i put 3mm cheque plate on the wings and bonnet of my 110 59 plate it means i can haul my heavy ass (81kg) on to the wing tops and bonnet to get to the roof rack etc? without bu**ering up the wings and bonnet with dents? :) Cheers Ben

Well not quite an over land exhibition with epic off road trails but great fun in the new car. I had to use the roof rack out of principle! :cool2: so i put all the suit cases (and a bit of diving gear) up there. The Trip started just north of Newport south wales, we left at 6pm on Saturday...

Hi TTEU, I have a few questions if you don't mind, I’ve got a 110 and I’m looking at sorting the audio, have you changed the head unit as well? Also how hard is it to change the front speakers is it a simple unscrew and plug in or a re wire? I rather fancy a sub but not sure where to put it...

Really good so far fingures crossed she feels much smoother (as can be expected for a defender!) i have done 202 ish miles and has not missed a beat. I am feeling a bit more confident that i will actually make it to the S.France on Sunday :banana: How about you any developments?

Well as it happens the previous owner had put a larger intercooler on (which apprently had some naf welds) and FP the map was not standard so they uploaded a standard map, I have done 70+ miles today mixed driving i.e motorway, city / traffic and it feels much better and no limp mode.:) off to...

Well the latest is I get to pick it up tomorrow at 10am, when the new part comes in which apparently is a hose connected to the intercooler, as the old one had a split in it. Not sure if this is any good to you FP I will ask the question regarding the map tomorrow:)
