:( I'm doomed. Anyone else know how to bodge the back window up temporarily?! If I pulle dit up then wedged it with a bit of wood or something wiuld that work? no idea how I'm gonna do that with the boot shut. ARGH

One other thing... can I carry on using my FL with the boot panel and insulation off? It's my only car!!! Gonna try bodge the window up now, then order a repair kit and cross my fingers it arrives tomorrow!

Ah... just seen yer post... hairdryer it is then!! Neighbours will think I'm rather odd...

So I pulled the panel off... and there's a polystyrene-type foam cover that's stuck on so I can't see anything... any idea how I get that off without destroying it?!

Thanks Will, I will do some reading and give it a go :), may also get the OH involved, about time he learnt how to service a car!! Mine's a 2002 (02 plate) TD4... will the Haynes manuals still cover everything for servicing this model? Take it it's just engine stuff it doesn't cover?

:) well that made me feel a lot better!! I was considering doing a service on it, but assumed I probably wouldn't be able to do it. Do you think you can learn to do most things yourself? Might pop out and see if I can find a Hayne's manual... this needs sorting as we're due a load of rain...
