What have you done to your Landie today.

Filled it with crap & hooked up my Sankey ready for a car boot sale

    What's your Apollo 13 moment?

I did Scotland to Ely in a Yugo 55 with a snapped clutch cable. I waited until late at night so I could make it back & had to match the revs for gear changes. Everyone probably thought it was normal for a Yugo to go that slow when I was driving up to red lights

Changed tyres and now have occasional 'death wobble'

If it's only happened since having the wheel off to change the tyres I would remove it again &I check there's nothing sticking out like a drum retaining screw. Make sure the drum is seated with a mallet & then I'd clean the back of the wheel & face of the drum. It seems strange this only...

I have a trolley jack & a hi lift. Had to use them both together once when I lost a rear wheel the day after my 109 was MOT'd

    Towing a Sankey with a CAR !

That's what I was trying to find out, wasn't sure of the chassis height. Taking the Landy to work isn't an option so I might need a separate trip. Is your reply based on fact or is it just an opinion as you're keen to call me a moron without knowing what knowledge or experience I already have.

    Towing a Sankey with a CAR !

I have exactly the same issue in that I need to pick up a Sankey trailer with my car as it's on my way home from work and there's no way I can take my Landy. As far as weight and capacity is concerned this is well within the car's limits and I have no issue fitting the NATO hitch to my car. My...

    Isuzu engine in Series 3

I got my series 3 and have had it on the road now for a couple of weeks. It starts straight away, runs smoothly, it's economical & has bags of low down torque for green laning. A Land Rover with a Japanese engine, brilliant idea.

    Isuzu engine in Series 3

By paperwork, do you mean to make sure it's been updated with the DVLA? I'm not sure that's been done yet even though it's been converted for about 10 years. I'm looking into the evidence I need to supply if that's the case.

    Isuzu engine in Series 3

I'm in the process of selling my 88" Station Wagon & buying a modified Series 3. It has an Isuzu 2.8 engine in it. I know nothing about these motors other than it's turbocharged, it runs really smoothly & is fairly quiet. It is mated to the standard LR gearbox, clutch & running gear. Is there...

    Bunch of Series

There's another one on there as well now. My Series 3 88" Station Wagon is up for sale, item number 181114951914 I love it & the only reason it's up for sale is because I'm buying a 109" Station Wagon for touring. More space for all the luggage a large family brings with it.

    stopping wheel spin when stuck

It sounds to me as though you're off road instructor was talking sense. By loading up a wheel you can spread drive through to another wheel or wheels both in on road & off road vehicles however if you use it at low speed in a 4x4 then you get stuck. Try it on at high speed in an Impreza & you're...
