    Faded Wheel Arches

    Thanks everyone! The arches are really quite 'rough' where they are faded. I did think about taking them off in order to sort it properly but probably not worth the hassle. I used to have a rubber bumber MGB and black shoe polish was the best for keeping them shiney by building up layers...

    Faded Wheel Arches

    I tried a search but couldn't find anything specific, there is so much in here! My 53 plate TD5 has faded wheel arches. On the top edge they are almost grey and feel slightly rough. What's the best way to get them back to black? Also, I sometimes get water dripping from my drivers...

    TD5 injector problems

    Update - My specialist suggested it was probably the injector loom causing my missing cylinder. It wasn't :-( Injector replaced on no.2 Cyclinder. (new loom also). Total cost £417. Could have been worse I suppose. Seems to be running smoothly again anyway!

    I could cry :( We're off to France tomorrow and we're supposed to be going in the Discovery. I got in it tonight to get it ready. On starting, it ran like a tractor. Felt like it was missing a cyclinder. Phoned a mechanic friend (Diesel expert) and he has bet money it's a failed injector...
