I know how they work, the problem is someone at landy used the borrowers to assemble the doors and you have to have hands of a 3 yr old to get to the mechanism and re attached the cable hook inside it. all doing this blindly. this is the only way i can think of without using a blow torch...

Both left hand doors on mine don't work either, it's the solenoids that have gone apparently. hope this helps

Since i live abroad i though sod it cut the blanking peice off and fitted it in the egr locked it in place with a new jubilee clip and viola all working great the car, she feels great. Will be sending the guy nice email about how ****e his parts are. Tks again guys.
