    I have the same freelander engine failure!!! I know this thread is a good 6 months old now, but i wondered did you manage to get a re-inbursement from LR? I have a Freelander 2, i've owned it for 17months, it was also 2007 plate with 60k on the clock, I brought extended 12month warranty...
