Couldn't see a bush on the exploded diagram in the manual,but will give stealership parts counter a ring !

Hi Peeps, The F'lander passed the MoT today ! Hoorah ! Advisory for play in the steering wheel. Haroo ! Checked the tightness and torque of the securing nut but there's still abit of play.Doesn't seem to be a steering column bush,any ideas ? cheers,Rob. Ps did a search but couldn't find ought.

Thanks for the info.chaps,I'll dig a bit deeper,I've seen a home made test rig somewhere on here or 75andzt club using clear tubing and syringes ! Might be worth a go to get some sort of measure of leak back, and I'll check out info. as suggested re-fuel rail.:) Thanks again ,much appreciated.

They all appear to be the same,just a small amount.I was under the impression that they shouldn't leak at all,but I've read that much about it me head aches ! :o So maybe they aren't knacked ?

Checked it out after a run and eveything seemed ok :o But as its still under warranty took it back for the dealer to look at.They couldn't find anything wrong so we came to the conclusion that twas the tyres.Apart from the droning it was driving fine! However !!! today was doing a 3 point turn...

Tyres all match, new onthe back.Going to Scarboro' tomorrow so will check for heat in vcu. Cheers,will report back.

Hi Peeps, my f/l has a droning noise when cruising,sounds like a distant Hercules,most noticeable from 50mph and gets louder as you go faster.Is this normal for freelanders ?!? Its an 04 td4 manual. Cheers,Rob
