Hi all update on the freelander it was a loose connector on the starter motor that was causing the problem of not starting thanks for all the replys i had from you guys regards trevor

Thanks guys it has been used up to today and i have moved the gear selector to neutral and tryed it but it still wasn't starting i will try some of the other pointers that have been mentioned out tomorow thanks again to all replys

Hi all i have a 2004 hse 2.5v6 auto got in her today turned the key and nothing happens all the dash lights up but nothing else ive had no problem with it starting before today any suggestions would be helpfull regards trevor.

Hi in the uk we have the amp under the passenger seat and cd changer under the drivers seat.

No sorry i should of said behind the cd changer under the drivers seat.

Td john you could be right about a feed for the auxilliary socket i have not got one fitted on my hse so it maybe for that.

Everything you said about is working .

The heated seat is working so it must be pluged in.
