My Caravan is 1.6 tonnes and my Td4 pulls that very well. You can legelly tow up to 2 tonne however it is not advisable to tow something which weighs more than the car does. Hope this helps !

Hi guys, When i got my 2003 FL Td4 i was told the engine had a timing chain rather than a belt. Is this the correct information and do i not need to worry about changing cam belts at the next service. Many Thanks

Might be the belts. Try spraying WD40 at the noise - it worked for me but obviously depends what the problem is.

If all 4 tyres are slipping, is it possible that the TC can remove all power to all 4 wheels - effectivey leaving you with no drive at all ? Excuse my ignorance
