ok i feel a bit stupid posting this....... i took the handbrake shoes off annnnnnnd i forgot which way they came off.........:doh: so im unsure which way they go back on.......

My 2.25 diesel won't turn over, it won't even beep the horn properly, I did think it would be the battery but it's not :s I've just changed the earth lead to the engine, when I turn the ignition key I just get a ticking noise from the starter

My series 3 2.25 diesel won't move at all, engine won't turn even when it's being boosted and it won't roll even when everything is in neutral and the clutch is down, it just rocks like it's still in gear :s All wheels have full and free movement when they're off the floor, I'm confused.......

I can get my landy started but i cant turn it off :s its a 2.25 diesel, i turn the key and pull it out but its still running, i pull the lever out, that has a picture of what looks like an engine with a line through it, that slows the engine but doesnt cut it out so ive just been stalling it to...

Just bought this: its a series III 2.25 diesel, its done 38k from new but its been sat around doing nothing for the past 10 years, i put some fresh diesel in it, charged the battery and it fired up and runs really well :) Just getting it roadworthy at the mo, it runs, drives, stops and turns...
