strangely mine runs better disconnected. If I connect then putting the gear selector (auto) into D etc, drops the revs to nearly 300 and it rumbles away till either stalls or revs up to 2000 then steps down, if I put it in N before stalling.

:D:D:D:D ok try this site for part numbers: Landrover Parts Catalog click on English and find the part you need. a lot of part numbers may be superseded. but its a start. the new bars are about 400-500 squid from britpart etc, so ebay is your friend!!

gotta agree, doesn't look that great, but I remember years ago in my youth!! Revs or Max Power had a feature on a golf with 2 VR6 engines one driving front second driving the rear. Now that in a freelander would be speshul. very speshul

be careful sticking the amp in there, they have been known to fill with water or at least get very damp.

I thought that cranked trailing arms were for lifted/after market springs etc to counter act the "rotation" of the axle over a certain height. but ive not ventured down this route and by no means an expert on he subject just my thoughts. So by fitted cranked arms to standard suspension setup...

when i struck oil from my dipstick it was 100% crank case breather, do your self a favour and fit the bmw vortex breather thingymajig.... 30 quid ish. that's that problem. then get on with the injectors pal.
