Thanks but on closer examination this bearing too is Knacked, though not so bad as the idler which had completely collapsed:(

Anybody know the p/n (i/d) of the bearing in the a/c idler pulley? Mine is completely shot! I know the whole pulley is not over expensive but as I'm in Spain I thought I might be able to source a bearing locally and save the time / cost of getting the pulley from UK. Thanks in anticipation...

When you fond out what the problem is can you post the answer so that those of us without a warranty but the same Disco can solve the issue when it hit us :-)
