Ah, ok, I am making the assumption that the lighter body of the Series rag top, along with a lot of the unnecessary bits stripped out would make it a little more sprightly.

More so than a Series chassis/suspension?

Just looking into that at the moment, it is looking like the way forward. :D Yes mate, I do. As someone else said it's a matter of getting the best of the more modern chassis, suspension, brakes etc, with the classic looks of the Series. I have to admit that I'm not much of a fan of the look...

Sorry! Is that a mis-type? The Range Rover (Classic I assume) chassis is the same as the Disco's? If so that's just made life a shed load easier, LOADS of info on that one. :)

I've done search but can't seem to really find anything about converting a Discovery into a Series bodied hybrid. Is there a thread or threads that I'm missing or is this sort of thing frowned upon as being a heinous crime? If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be appreciated...

I've just bought a Series 3 and I am looking to put the 200 engine into it and as such I am also looking at 'bio-diesel'. When you say "filtered waste oil", are you talking about cooking oil or engine oil? If the latter, how much of a mission is it to do? Please feel free to PM me if it's easier.
