hi guys thx for the help,... turns out the oil pump gear was worn out and the oil leaked thru when standing for a longer time,... replaced it and it works fine

I've changed the fuel filter, oil filter, the oil, the oil level is sufficient. And replaced a worn turbo hose,...is it possible the oil pump is wornout and it needs some time to build up pressure? Where is the oil pump located? what is an OK compession on these engines? thx

I recently bought a disco 95' with a 300tdi engine. when i bought it the car was running fine just the engine was a little lazy because the car has been standing for a while. then the problems started,.... when i start the engine cold the light for oil pressure goes out after about ten seconds...
