Hello series 3 with a 200tdi, shes popping out of gear on the over run in 1st and 2nd never but fine when accelerating. any ideas? looking to sell her so need to get it sorted! Cheers

i used some angle with a hole drilled for the adjuster to tighten on and spaced the altenator with some washers, hard to explain but easy when you see it. makes more room for the intercooler and piping aswell. i'v done the pump full of grease and of the two this is the way to go in my opinion.

i'd advise getting rid of power pump all together. move altenator down and run one belt.

200tdi brilliant engine etc got one in my series 3, but the petrol engine is so smooth an quiet in comparison to the noisy deisel.

were can i buy the nuts and bolts that hold the swivel housing to the axle? i have tommorow and then im taking the series on holiday to cornwall on tuesday so need to get them quick. so im located in rugby landrover specialists are closed today but will they stock them ? Thanks
