Yes just under 60psi at tick over when cold, light goes out soon as you start up.

Changed the switch also noticed sump was concave, possibly from standing on its own weight. Took sump off beat it out, strainer and sump clear. All good.

Thats what I'm wondering, its possible the cooler pipes dropped down and oil leaked out when i removed the engine. The filter is full, maybe i need to put oil in through the warning light hole until it comes out. Then try again.

So Ive just put a 300 tdi back in my truck after being sat in the workshop covered over for 9 months, ran perfectly well last time. Left the old oil and filter in so it wasn't dry. Now the warning light wont go out, have tried an oil pressure gauge via a t piece that registers 0. Any thoughts ?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced EGT gauge, have tried a cheap dragon gauge that didnt work.

Had the same issue when i bought my disco recently, greased up the tensioner bearing. It did the trick for a while or it was not as noisy. Changed the bearing yesterday, but it still made a noise. Guessing one squeal was masking another. Done the penny trick this morning, could see the tensioner...
