Yep i'm a clumsy git and reversing out of a gateway caught the passenger side wing mirror on a brick gatepost and destroyed the casing. somehow managed to get away with not breaking the glass but i need to replace the casing so is it possible to get just the casing and swap everything over or is...

I use Ian just outside Birmingham IRB Developments - Diesel Tuning and More always sorted mine out can be a pain to get hold of but always good just keep tryin he posts on most of the other forums as Porny.

Is it disco 1 or 2 i've had a very similar problem (disco 2) but mine wouldn't open from either side. managed to fight with the panel and get it off and release the latch, took it all out and checked it all over cleaned and oiled it put it back same problem still there turned out to be the cable...
