Indicators working both sides at same time :(

Indicators working both sides at same time :(

Righty-ho, new hazard switch installed and new LED flasher unit installed, the result: The LEDs flash at a more respectable rate but alas, all four corners and side repeaters flash in unison. I swapped the front two bulbs back to filaments and the problem has resolved itself, therefore I am...

Indicators working both sides at same time :(

The set up i currently have is with the standard filament bulb flasher unit (they flash a bit fast but are or were independent when indicating) they started flashing together yesterday for no apparent reason, Im going to install an LED flasher relay and see if it returns the directional...

Indicators working both sides at same time :(

I will get the old bulbs back in tomorrow, when this dreadful rain ceases! Could I not try fitting one of those aftermarket LED flasher units that compensate for the lower wattage drawn from LED bulbs? James

    3.9 EFi starter issues

Ahhh so the seemingly innocuous wire from the coil +ve could have been 'loosely' connected to a 12v switched source behind the dash? so if i reattach a switched 12v source to the coil +ve it may come back to life?

    3.9 EFi starter issues

Back of the Ignition switch looks as it should, everything is okay in that area, its just odd that when i get to the 3rd stage of the ignition for the starter, the relay just clicks and the starter doesn't crank....

    3.9 EFi starter issues

I should clarify, the black wire wasn't attached to anything, I removed the dash and checked and photographed everything before i removed it. To answer your rather curt reply, Minty, no I'm not that stupid. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Regards James

    3.9 EFi starter issues

I have a RRC 3.9 V8 in my 90, it has been running fine for the past 3 years since i've had it, but the other day whilst tidying up the engine bay i removed a seemingly pointless wire from the coil +ve terminal from behind the dash that wasn't attached to anything. Now the starter doesn't crank...
