I'm running QT3s as well. The disco had been crudely lifted on 2" blocks under the springs by someone prior to me, so I replaced with the procomps... I have a funny feeling though that the procomps are a greater than 2" lift, was a secondhand kit so not 100% sure! Got a new standard prop...

I have a hell of a noise coming from my transmission... here's the symptoms... Generally most noticeable after being out for around five minutes, when changing from fourth into fifth and when in any gear and backing off the throttle to have only about 5-10% throttle on there's a grinding...

This is now driving me totally nuts! The noise is still there... Have removed the 4mm of end float in the drive shaft by shimming Appears to be no horizontal plane play in wherl hub so wheel bearing ok - nipped it up none the less. No vertical plane play so swivel joints ok too...

So in effect you're saying +2" springs are a basically designed to take a heavier load (hence less sag)? I've been under the car all weekend and as part of that found I have no ARBs already! I already appear to have spring straps, no dislocation cones and no dropped mounts. So if I go with...
