    Here in sweden we pay more road tax for diesel cars than petrol, Range rover DSE ~£850 a year (unless registered as a light truck @ half the tax) Range Rover petrol ~£250 a year

    P38 Diesel Auto Idle Speed 950rpm

    on high mileage bmw's they usually raise the idle speed to mask a failing pump, but *most* of the pumps in the p38's are the late model that are slightly less likely to fail in that aspect
