hello all got the new pump on today ( a delphi one ) and i have flushed the engine with some flushing oil to rid of the fuel in there and then changed the oil filter and refilled with some nice new oil. she sounds sweet now and alot less rattly. many thanks again for steering me in the right...

hello all just a quick update, i have vacuum tested the pump today and its not holding vacuum so i have ordered a new pump. thanks to everyone who answered my post

hi thanks for the reply. the lift pump is less than a year old. it is a bit smokey not blue smoke more dark grey/ black like a bit of un burnt fuel

hi i have a 300td discovery, i have done a oilspy test on the engine oil and its got some diesel in the engine oil. has anyone ever had this on theres before ? and also what could be causing it ? thanks

hi i had this probwith mine. on the back of the interior fuse box there is a small box with a multi plug on it, this among other things controls the interior lights, got one off a scrapper prob solved. forgot what they are called, think its summut like a mfu.
