I have my eye on a decent defender(1988)but am told it has a few rust holes either side of the bulkhead,other than this it is a sweet motor.I havent yet owned a landy yet and this is in my price range can I get round this or am I buying trouble.

I have my eye on a 1996 disco on ebay which has come in on a part ex,it looks immaculate but the guy said it could do with two new sills and the gear box is whining, he said both of these could be picked up realy cheap,is he right or should i swerve it,I wreckon I can get it for 1200.

how much does a gas conversion cost for a v8 disco

can anyone please tell me if an auto v6 freelander is a good car or is it one to stay away from,can the auto box be trouble cheers

Are the v8 disco a bad buy they seem really cheap,I know they would cripple you in petrol but what about a gas converted one. Cheers

I am thinking of buying a freelander that supposedly just needs a new clutch,I dont know much about these cars,am I buying trouble or is this a common fault with these,if not how much will I pick a clutch up for. Cheers.:D
