That sounds suspiciously like a lane in Wales that bashed my cage and bent my roof rack. To get through it I think the tree sihifted a bit and the suspension compressed :mad:

I'm kinda planning on having a different (or ideally second) Defender by then, so hopefully won't be a problem :D

Aye, we made it half way along, then had to back up and turn around. Mahoosive hole... looks like loads of people have been going around it too... Was still a good lane for the half we got to see :D

Nothing for sure yet... starting off with Old Coach Road at first, meeting near the west end of it. Had some recommendations from Widget on which ones wouldn't be too hard, but other than that probably play it by ear. Think I've got most of the lanes in the Lakes/Cumbria/etc plotted in MM now...

Any one interested in joining on Oct 17th? Gunna run some of the easier lanes, as the two of us going so far are both a bit new to laning. Folks with experience of the lanes in the area would be very welcome :D

D'oh, sorry for the late reply! Yes, it's a 50th, number 340. Long story short, I'm Canadian/British dual citizenship, but since I originally obtained my driving license in Canada, the UK will only allow you to swap it for an automatic transmission UK license... kinda limited my choices in...
