i heard that if your alternator is going that it can cause the speedo needle to jump eraticaly. could mean somethings wrong with your alternator BUT i would double check that with some one in here with more experience before you start messing with it. I could be wrong so do double check this...

hay im new to this site but maybe some one can help me in here. My tachometer doesnt work at all and i am hoping to try and fix it this week. its a 95 land rover discovery 2.5tdi. Ive put a new battery in and nothing else seems to be wrong except the brake lights dont work but i have a feeling...
