Yes, I tried the RF receiver thing removing the double wire plug i.e. diabling the antenna, made no difference. I was due to sell the car when i discovered the problem, so i thought if I could lengthen the life of the battery charge that would be acceptable. I'm too consientious to sell the car...

I have a battery drain on my P38 considered to be a Becm problem i.e. I need a new one. Just a thought, can I fit a more powerful battery so the drainage takes 4 days rather than 2 say? So the battery is the same size physically but holds more charge? Cheers in advance.

Hi - very interested in this as well. Same drainage on my P38 (2001) because the Becm not going to sleep. The auto-electrician I took it to said I need a new Becm :eek:, I'm abit sceptical though. I tried to look into this myself by measuring the drainage but the alarm just keeps bl00dy going...
