Is your Td5 an EU2 model ? If yes, verify that the remap is for EU2 specs engine. Verify also the MAP/IAT/AAP and the MAF sensors. Any faulty sensor that puts a constant value to ECU (for that sensor) is not the way to obtain max performance.

Lifted one ?

In my case, after bypassing the EGR, the noise level at idle speed is higher, and the smoothness in general is lower. I want to make tests re-fitting it now, that I have a Stage II map on it, and take notes to the feel of the engine. I will see.

I have had the same problem with mine, never resolved until I retro-fitted the Disco to standard coils. The lifts are a hell on road, because the castor problem they cause. The steering is wanderer, an emergency brakage on fast road is dangerous etc.. No more lifts for me. If I ever need a...

Look at your AAP and IAP info. If your AAP do not read correctly the ambient pressure, it lacks power on the lower range of rpm.

Any differences between the two ones ore are they compatible ? Another question: wich is the 4th wire ? The first on the left or on the right (looking the filter box) ?

The TD5 best sound is IMHO at the range of 2.500 to 3.500 rpm :-)

Do you have lifted your D2 ? When mine was lifted 2" the problems were the same or bigger.

Are the new injectors compatible with older TD5 engines without any work or collateral problem ?
