I have an 02 TD5 and the electric fan (not the viscous) seems to stay on continuously when the engine is running, any ideas why? It doesnt stay on with just the ignition Thanks

My gearbox is doing the old thing of sticking in gear till it warms up and when it does change gear its a bit clompey, i have had this issue before and changed the filter and oil and normally this sorts it out over time but dont think it is doing it this time. I am starting to think there maybe...

i had the same problem all i did was buy some clear bathroom slilcone and put around the sun roof between the plastic and the metal roof,thats where most leak from and now can still use the sunroofs and no leaks

What is the right battary for the disco es auto diesel 2000 ,anyone know what reading i should have from the battary when before engine started and engine running cheers

yeah changed it still the same ,would anyone think its the battary its got a HCB 072 starting power 550 amps and due to the winter heated seats ,window is draining the power for the auto box ecu when starting up and when driving for 5 mins it charged it back up

thanks for the help but have noticed that when i driver for 5 minutes it all fine again with smooth changes ,so at first its pot luck to see which gear i have to drive in for first 5 mins :confused:

Hello all and happy new year, The missus has a 2000 discovery TD5 AUTO when you start it and drive sometimes it seams like it stuck in 1 gear and other times it seams like its in 3 gear and some times it drives perfect changes up and down with no trouble any help would be great thanks:D

All the hoses are fine and the sensor is connected!

Couple of issues with my TD5 1. for a while now, i have been having issues with the revs on my car. it will rev upto 3000 and then will stick at that and wont go beyond and if i keep the revs stable the rev counters jumps from 3000 to 2000 then back to 3000 and the only way i can sort it is...
