as the title suggests, im replacing the head gaskets on my range rover, do they sell an uprated version for it. (v8) if not what is the best ones to get, is it worth my while going to land rover to get oe parts? or can i buy the head gasket set on ebay for £50?? thanks guys

hi there ive made up 4 of these below to allow me to fit a new rado to my p38. what i need to know is where to put the positive and where to put the negative? does the 330ohm resistor go on the posistive + of the aftermarket unit to the harmon cardon positive + also does anyone know...

i went to the breakers yard and cut the wiring off another range i used new plugs with about 6" of new wire, the ecu is situated behind the battery under a black cover. get yourself some 3mm heatshrink too, to do the job properly, i dunno it if helped but i had the batery off the night before...

right got it sorted today, i had to change the 3 plugs that went to the engine control unit, one must of had a broken wire or summin but i cut them off and solderd on some new ones and all sorted, runs better than it ever did

im wondering if we have been supplied the wrong IAC valves? anyone know if the are diffrent between the later and earlier engines what year is your vehicle

i most certainly will matey, im currently having the ecu's changed, may have to go down the root of an adaptive value reset or new gearbox if this doesnt cure it

im hundred percent certain if dont move the throttle at all just keep it in the same place and it just drops in and out of kickdown

may go along the line of a new manifold in case mine has hairline crack i cant see also, seems strange it has only happend since i left idle control off, or maybe just coincidence

checked the throttle posistion switch as u said, also belled out all wiring for continuity and also to make sure its getting a reading back to ecu, now uve mentioned that its pressure controlled im gonna look for air leaks maybe take the manifold off again and reseal. is there a vacuum pipe...
