Short answer to how quick a D2 will accelerate 0 to 60mph. Yes, it can do that. You might be better off looking for something else to drive if that is a spec You care of.

Don't know about replacing the crank sensor, but I'd say Youl do just fine with the injectors/seals and the fuel pump. To get to the injectors You just need to take the rocker cover off, the rocker shaft off and injectors are there. Unbolt them and pry them up with something like a allen key or...

I don't see what all the fuzz is about the top nut, it's easily accessible...

Got it out yesterday after using the angle grinder and a dremel with the small 38mm discs. Both side towbar mounting brackets need to be removed. And as they may have been on since new, I had to cut the nuts off the thru chassis bolts. Nice design, atleast on the right hand side, not too much...

Should the tank be loose after the strap from below is taken off? I have it, and the top strap from filler side off, the filler etc hoses off/loose. And there is zero movement in the tank. Even tried jacking it up, with a piece of wood in between to even the load, no movement except the whole...

Just buy the normal bulbs that has none of this +% crud on them.

What is a big modification? Putting in +2" shocks and coils, and longer brake lines, adjusting the panhard, not a big mod in my opinion. Lift blocks? Why?

Thats the V8 kit, not TD5.

No need to take the head off for injector o rings and copper washers. Just the rocker cover and shaft. Not really a big job to do.

And this is why I wrote it with quotes... It cuts power and so on, so makes it "limp" so I wrote "limp mode" not limp mode.

Wellll...... Theres the overboost "limp mode" that clears after restart or clearing the code while driving..

Thanks Guys. As as short update to the current status of my discos. Well, I have 4 of them now. Bought 2 discovery 1's last year. For some few hundred euros per. LOTS or new metal needed on the bodies on both of them and I mean a LOT. Croker vs Rover had no rust compared to mine 🤣

Is the click from a relay or solenoid? If the battery is warm and has a good charge? I'd go for a new starter. ~150 euros from aeromotors and ~180 euros from 4x4parts. If getting it melting in next few days brings no help.
