I have the same issue. As stated earlier a quick thump on the under bonnet fuel lift pump seems to resolve the issue. Not really a long term solution though.

Update. The cause in the end was the dashboard clock which looked fine but was causing a short.

I am putting in the fuse size as per details on fudse box. The lights effected are the ones the door switch brings on.

Has anyone experienced a situation whereby the fuse that supports the interior lights, clock and odometer etc. keeps blowing? I change the fuse and it lasts for a short while then blows again. Any ideas on what might be causing this? This is a TD4 2003 model. Thanks

Update: It turns out that the rear bush was rusted onto the wishbone. This meant that the rubber bush was trying to move in its housing and was grabbing. The result was that the suspension was for all intents and purposes seized solid. I replaced the wishbone and bushes, with genuine LR...
