My freelander is due its MOT next month, was just wondering if I will need to fix my drivers window for it, the cable snapped a while ago and I havent got round to fixing it yet, do they check that windows go up and down as part of the MOT ?

Has no one been able to find a gearbox specialist or engineering shop that would re condition your IRD for you if you take it off and give them it, surely this must be cheaper than buying one.
