Luckily I have a bit of movement after removing the top 3 bolts so pretty sure it’s just the ones I mentioned earlier but only time will tell. Having another stab at it tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated!

Sounds great, thanks. Second person would definitely help! Think I’ve just got 3 bolts left to take off, one on the exhaust manifold (nightmare to get to through the n/s wheel arch with a mile of extensions) and two to release the metal oil pipe. Fingers crossed!

So to cut a long story short, I broke down going on holiday with suspected turbo failure. So far I’ve removed all the hoses and manifold and cleared them out, cleaned out the EGR valve and replaced the air filter and crank case breather. They were all pretty clogged up with junk. No improvement...

I used the same colour wrap to do the bonnet letters etc and looks great against the dark green of the car.

I haven’t got the kit to do it so will have to go and get one when I get a chance. All back together for now but easy enough to take apart... here’s what I did to it today...

So today I decided to try and change the centre console a bit to try and make it look better... 2hrs and a roll of wrap later, here’s the results... BEFORE... AFTER... Quite like the look but not happy with the overall finish so may well remove it and spray paint it instead. Thoughts???

They are not that dark but done mainly for the dog to keep him cool in the boot in all this glorious weather we’re having. Will grab some pictures when it stops raining.

Is that in behind the steering wheel? All the other steering wheel parts work ok... horn etc and no airbag light. Thanks

Finally off work so can get around to all those jobs I’ve been wanting to do on the hippo!

Today I replaced the broken aerial and tinted the back 3 windows. Day of wrapping interior tomorrow... should smarten it up no end!

I have the controls already on mine, with the factory stereo (6CD Changer) but they don’t seem to work... the stereo itself works as it should it’s just the remote controls that don’t... any ideas on a fix for this? I’m removing the central console tomorrow to wrap it so will have a poke around...
