    Belts squeeling? Black smoke ?

    Check all the intercooler hoses are tight, any air being drawn in will cause overfuelling, thus the black smoke. Also check for any holes caused by rubbing,etc, etc.Good luck

    Gary, I know this problem was a while ago, did you cure it.? My TD5 has the same problem and have tried belts, WD 40 and new tensioner, to no avail !! Any help greatly appreciated. Matt

    Discovery TD5- Fuel Filter

    Have just bought a Disco TD5 and followed links on changing fuel filter, only problems is the filter itself is now hot, is this common or am I paranoid !!! Any help greatly appreciated.
