Thanks again, @Grrrrrr @tomcat59alan and everyone. Looks like collectively everyone seems to point to static timing issue. The workshop must have blundered it when they put everything back on. It will be a while before the workshop can work in it .... we are heading into a long holiday...

here's the pic. The white smoke was coming from the exhaust manifold which they opened up, instead of the actual exhaust at the back. they did this to eliminate any possibilities of the catalytic converter had stuffed up. [GA

I will share this tip with the FIP outfit. Is this the part where you rotate the FIP to adjust between lean and rich? Dunno is this is relevant or not but I saw the workshop doing this, which unfortunately didn't help with the stall issue o_O

I received the Diesel Hot Start Fix from ebay and installed it to no success. I noticed the Glow Plug indicator turns on for a little less than 6 seconds in the morning and when hot it stayed on for just above 2 second. Does this mean the relay is bad? Where is it? Thanks in advance.
