OK guys I give up! it's finally time for me to get rid of my 'Green Goddess' P38 over the 2 years I have owned her I have spent more on GG than I have on my entire family but still she is not playing ball. My latest and ongoing is lack of electric windows and water ingress, sunroof drains...

I did eventually get round to putting a tester to it, 12v present at pin one, hope replacing the pack works and i'll get the car dried out ASAP :cool:

Went over all solder joints and still dead, new one i think :-(

Only in so far as the back light is working and all fuses are ok

Its completely dead though, not just one window :(

I've got it out of the case, so might as well have a go before replacing it. :crazy_driver:

After a good warm 2.5 hr run with aircon the hevac display is now 100% but the switch pack after a clean with moisture repellant elec spray and a dry out warm indoors, never regained conscious and was pronounce D.O.A on return.... Oh well wallet out again :eek:

Hopefully repairable, else it will be more of the hard earned on the green goddess :jaw:

Cheers will do, I now have the switch pack out, it had a greasy/dampish film with dust and pet hair on the switch side surface, signs of damp under cubby where pack was removed

Its not soaking, but been out of use AGAIN for a wee while and a touch damp, will get the heater into it and once road taxed i'll give it a good run.... with the windows up lol

Hi, yes it is a tad damp, was working last week when it was put into the garage, finished the work reconnected the battery and Oh F oops... no power to windows, I'll whip out the panel and dry it out, get some heat through the car too. Thanks Datatek

Hi Guys, Has anyone ever managed a repair on the cubby switch pack? mine appears to have died, been off the road a while and I was putting it back together today only to discover the switch's are not working, Climate display not working either but still operational :eek:

Put auto box sump back together, inc, filter, pick up and seals after a dropped front prop destroyed it all, only to find a new problem, window switch pack failure....... Jeeesh! its just as well I love my green goddess lol

thanks for swift reply, unsure of your meaning, its the oil sump/pan on the gearbox, it was smashed by the flailing prop, like this one

After a bad days motoring, one of many i might add :-( My front prop, rear UJ gave up the ghost and done a bit of damage, I am in need of an oil pan for my 2.5 Dt auto.
