We already have a Sherpa engine but I like your idea. If all else fails on the search for an adapter plate then I will look for a gear box.

Headlight Bulb is a great idea, but if you want to pass full power then I use a 16Amp domestic circuit breaker in place of the fuse, If there is a short the breaker trips and can easily be reset. Steve.

Watts is still a measurement of power, in DC terms Watts equals volts times amps, So if this wattage is correct the light bar would need to be wired using starter motor cable. Steve.

A really good place to look is has a tow bar been fitted at some stage, If so then check the tow bar electrics underneath as this is the usual place to find a short. Steve.

Update. Well I changed the injectors, No difference, So I checked the pump timing and it was out and so I adjusted the timing and lo and behold no smoke. Would you believe it. Thank you everyone for the advice. Why did I not check the pump timing to start with? Steve.
