Allright guys! Thanks for all the replies :-) I disassembled the brakes to find that I've somehow managed to put the 1" wheel cylinders up front and the 1 1/4" at the rear - stupid mistake... On top of that, the brake shoes and the drums weren't mated properly so the contact point were...

Right now it's plumbed front to rear and vice versa. I've tried swapping to front-front but made little to no difference.

I'll ensure that first thing tomorrow ;-)

But is it possible to mount the brake shoes wrong? It's really thoroughly bled; both front and rear.

It's properly bled with pressure fed through the reservoir. And the front drums are adjusted to sticktion and then back a nodge. But maybe I've bodged the leading/trailing shoe thingy... Do you know of proper guide for checking that - front and rear?

Don't got any data but my guess is that it's plenty powerful. Think about how much more water that pump moves around than your average domestic circulator. :flame: I think there's flow to heat a house if you want. Who's first to try it out??

It would be interesting to know the temperature difference between inlet and outlet at max temperature and full tilt on the blower. If the temp difference is large (10-30 deg C) you could probably benefit from running them parallel and it would also indicate that the water pump isn't up for the...

I'm talking coolant here ;-) Liquids flow through tubing is not that different than electrics :-)

It's not a bad idea running the ducting past the engine and make a shroud that fits on the radiator thus preheating the air. But, you need to be damn sure that it wont draw any toxic fumes from the engine bay. And it will still be hot in the summer!!

I don't know if flow through the heater is an issue. BUT, running them parallel will theoretically reduce the resistance by half, where as running them in series will double the resistance.

Mine is filthy and sealed with silicone/sikomastic :-D
