I see that Avalanche is still advertising 400 acres of mud and parts of it that are for winching only.
What a crock. The off road part of this place is probably the size of three football pitches. And its probably the tamest site I've been to.
Got a D1 300tdi,I'm gonna be fitting a 1-4 defender transfer case.
1.Do I have to change the output flanges..?
2.Is there anything else I need to know..?
Any help on this matter will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Woody...
At the moment I'm building a hybrid using a D1 as the base vehicle.I want to remove the abs,is it just a case of removing the abs unit and replacing the calipers or is there more to it..?
Got that combo on my disco,I've also got 3"wide arch extensions on mine.As for fuel consumption and acceleration, its a Land Rover. The road noise from the tyres is terrible, and I love it.If I was you I'd go for it,ya won't regret it.
Got a set of five Boost alloys with 285 75 16 Goodyear Wrangler muds on them.
Four of the tyres have 10mm of tread and the fifth one has around 5mm on it... £300
Also come with wheel nuts, locking nuts and centre caps.
Great seeing this after I made the decision yesterday to make my disco a hybrid. This has given me more inspiration.Be intersting to see what each of us ends up with.
Just sent back one of their so called wide angle front prop.Fitted it in February. Got it from Adventure 4x4 in Leeds.Bearings collapsed on the rear uj.
