Hello again. I need to replace the heater inlet hose, mine has had the thermostat upgrade done, does the standard inlet pipe still fit, and if not is there an alternative part. Also if anyone's got an unseized driver's side rear brake shoe adjuster knocking about I need one :) Thanks.

Well there's a surprise. Water was looking a bit low so I removed the oil cap and sure enough there was a little bit of the white stuff round the end of it. Sniff test tomorrow and then a trip to the bank I reckon.:mad:

Investigating a misfire today, took the cover off, all 4 plug wells were full of water. The front bolt was missing from the cover, would this explain the water i the wells ? Number 3 was literally full of water. Changed the plugs as the old ones looked knackered, runs sweetly now. I didn't use...

2003 1.8 freelander. washers not working. no noise from the pumps. Is this a common thing and would it be more likely to be the stalk or the motors themselves. Neither one is working, wipers are all fine though. Would I have to take the wheel off to get to the inner wig to get to the washers...

Need to change the knackered battery, but the bolt holding the clamp is spinning. I can just about get my fingers underneath and touch the nut but cant see any way of getting a spanner/socket/anything apart from the end of my finger in there to hold it. Any suggestions before I drill the bolt...
