    so any way A1 autocentre took off the prop shaft for me - completely different drive now, seems to have more power and of course no stiffness when cornering tightly. Reccomended simple modification for anyone who wants to avoid a costly VCU replacement....

    Well I live in Cambridge but I bought it to take down to Bulgaria this summer. I can live without the 4wd so I am thinking of ditching the prop/VCU and saving myself the inevitable hassle of VCU failure. Engine seems sweet, plus lots of extras on this model...so I don't really want to part with it!

    Already with problems :) Just bought with 56,000 miles on it, drives lovely and interior is mint...but she does need some tweaks, that's for sure.... Dave
