They are just disposable . don't bother trying to fix.
Now ? An odd thing the freelander ones fail often . I have 2 not working . and couldn't be bothered replacing at the moment. .
But the rover 75 ones are reliable . half the price on eBay and guess what . its the same part ?? Maybe the rover...

Glass etching great idea . and I have a freelander . but I feel that its unlikely that it would be stolen then number plated ect changed then sold in . so much risk for so little gain .. Although at the same time I wouldn't like it to be stolen

That'd great I have considered making mine into one but something that could be taken out and fits over seats when folded .
And possibly a cooker that folds flat on inside of rear door .
that boot trim removed would give enough space its ridiculously wide.
Your missing a flip down roof mounted DVD

It could be worth a look at the fuel line to check for splits or o ring failure . as this would cause air to e drawn into the system. Have you tried slackening injector pipes to so if their is pressure while cranking
-
I have had the same issue. It was a single fuel injector . .
I know everyone says change them all if their is a fault but I changed just 1 and its been perfect for over 20000 miles.
The ideal check is removal and inspection. From cold forget leak off tests.
A failed one will be wet at the end.

Hi does it run rough for about 5 seconds when it starts after spraying easy start ?

Make sure the hubs and wheels are corrosion free and spotless where they meet each other and flaky bits or rust can cause the disk's to warp when they are tightened up and give the effects of knackered disks
Then I read the thread and its already been sugested sorry
-
If its overheated they can become distorted then slightly misaligned. They don't move much but its enough to ruin the engine as every thing will be distorted
-
Its amazing how much oil floats about in them pipe's it does sound like a clogged. Engine breather their only cheap are you up to changing it . I take it for granted that everyone is just because they own a 4x4 .
Its straight forward . but while its off you ideally need to wash all the plastic...

Did it go with a bang mine did . just replace the one that's gone for now it probably the one on the right.
Change the rest as and when.
Make sure the pcv filter is changed and egr and inlet manifold are clean they are why the rubber's fail . to much oil deteriorating the rubbers

-
And this is one of a vw passat

Hi I was just reading your great thread .
Have you considered the webasto option often found under bonnets of rover 75's and used in narrow boats small use little fuel an but out an amazing amount of hot water and its a complete stand alone unit
-
This is the pallet racking it comes in different sizes and its light strong galvanized and cheap
-
Mine does not have weights and its smooth.
Just make sure when its bolted in place and you look down the whole fitting from gearbox to the diff its parallel the center part can be out of lign a smidge and cause vibration . more noticeable with acceleration
