right been a while but now have 2 beige front seats (not leather) bu very good condition so will just slap some covers on and paid £10! sweet. I've been busy too blanked egr,fuel pump tweak,de cat pipe,clear indicators..i'm getting the bug

Before I get an earful i've checked on here.....can i run my disco 1 300tdi on veg oil. If so and please forgive my ognorance i'm new to all this can i just pour it in with the diesel already in the tank?

Its a thought but to be honest i can suffer until i get a new set.....i live in hope, might just buy full set in black if that makes it easier

Hi All, After weeks on ebay i'm looking for your help please. Ideally i'm looking to replace the fronts seats (manual) in sand/fawn leather - my set are very tired and driver's side sagging and ripped, passenger is ok but cracked leather. I'll look at all options including a full interior...

Quick update for those who care. New engine in and running very well, fitted new heavey duty clutch fork too and some other bits. This will make you laugh - the idea of getting the discovery was so wife could drive and fit all the kids and dogs in - she now refuses to drive and wants her...

10 hours so i gather is a bit strong - I'm not disputing the sale of vehicle to me as to be honest I knew the engine was ****e and the seller did say it burnt oil...thought it might be a repair jobby more than engine swap....i'll bite the bullet but at least now have some ammo to neg on the price

Yes I could source an engine I guess but again i'm not really going to know if it's anygood as I don't profess to being in the know. You've been helpful so far - I suppose i'll try haggling and look at the car as a long term project

Alas i'm not mechanically minded otherwise i would be. The mechanic mentioned that it would take him about 10 hrs (£45 an hour charge) does this sound right for a specialist tks for reply btw
