Just a thought simple first check.could you be loosing power to the stop solonoid {should be 12v valve open } you can test by puting a wire on the supply to the valve connect this to a bulb in the cab earth bulb in cab If bulb goes out you have lost power Would check this first saves hunting...

Try checking drivers door lock linkage I still think this could be mechanical Linkage related I think your door should unlock with the key even if you have no battery power Eka entry requires door lock working as linkage connects to micro switches etc Very good info on this at rangerovers.net

How did you charge your battery and for how long

Make sure door handle is pushed all the way in try key again Try unlocking with key and at same time open and close door handle Looks like its lock related before you look at eka and key synk etc

Hi Use a very small hammer and gently tap the sensor in If it is going to move it will take verry little effort When you have done this Drive your motor in forward gear for about 30 seconds and if the taping worked you should be ok This worked on my Discvery Rich

Hi Just a thought there is a way of doing this without removing all of the dash requires a hole cut and a hole drilled but all covers up on refit Just done my p38 in under 2.5 hours Its Very easy Could be worth doing the holes before you rebuild incase the rings go again. I found Very good...
