    Hi Whats your views on using 5W40 in place of the recommended 5W30? About ready to give my 2011 Freelander 2 a full engine service TD4 with DPF fitted.

    HI Yantojarc I agree with Nodge68, I think I am having issues with my fuel filter which was not a genuine filter , when hot does not seem to respond to throttle all the time.

    Thanks Arctic2 for your response, reason I am asking is I have read that on some filters that the valve in the filter that controls the fuel temperature does not work correctly?:rolleyes: Thanks again TK MAX.

    What make fuel filter would you recommend for a 2011 Freelander 2 2.2 diesel. Fitted a new one last, and when the engine gets hot it will sometimes hesitate?
