its an auto - there are no belts slipping, its like a power steering pump sound with no fluid in it - but its not that when your not moving no noise..... read it could be a ACE Pump packing up? that likley? cheers for all your help

HI no air in the power steering system. what other system did you suggest? no rubbing on the tyres any other suggestions? cheers Tim

HI - have just purchased my first Land rover and love it, however i have a noise coming from the front 0f the car, and can not work it out i have a 2002 v8 discovery with facelift, the noise comes at low revs up to 2000rpm, it kind of sounds like a power steering pump noise when it has no fliud...
