Landrover Discovery 1 1998 2.5 Diesel Automatic.

ok gearbox level is bang on the money, have since decatted it which has made no difference and replaced the air flow meter for a known good one which also made no difference, ive replaced the entire fuel line now aswell to rule out air which there isnt any so im running out of things to change...

yeah thats on my crap power post lol, so you think im wasting my time with the hawkeye then, ive got it in the back of my head that the ecu wouldnt be able to send the info i want anyway lol

that would be nice if there was lol, as stated at the top of the post the fuel lift pump was replaced for new the injectors have been replaced since posting lol ,the autobox fluid has also been drained out and replaced again so ive done about 13 ltrs by now in 3 changes so more good in there...

decelerometer is the way it should be done, but i think most places will pass it so long as it holds the vehicle weight, i know both mine were done with the decelerometer and all was kool

well i was thinking about shellin ut the 300 quid for this hawkeye tool, im just unsure as to what it will do,
mt tdi is slow very slow and im interested in finding out what the boost sensor and airflow meter readings are as well as temp sensor
i dont really want to take it to the dealer as...

yes the 16 pin obd2 socket is for alarm windows etc the engine ecus are not wired to it, they have there own 5 pin plugs the advert sayes that it does all these wonderfull things but there is nothing to say that it will read live data for example from a 14cux ecu for the v8, or the ecu for the...

Hi ive got 2 discovery 1`s 1 is a 1996 v83.9efi the other is a1998 300tdi with edc
Will The Hawkeye Diagnostic give me live data results on these too vehicles ?? as neither are obd2 compliant and the plugs for them both i beleive are 5 pin

also another question, if there are codes on the engine ecu, can it be reset without sticking it on testbook, eg removing battery for a bit or has it got to be reset by the dealer ???
