Can anybody tell me if its possible to lock the car and not set the alarm for those odd occasions you have to nip into the shop?

Has anyone got a recommendation for a good head unit at a fair price.
I'm not massively into music. But I'd like all the DAB+ stations.
Sound quality in the Disco 3 is good enough, for me so no improvement required.
Sat Nav via my phone bluetooth would be a bonus.
Calls through my audio...

It looks to me like the same fitting as the detachable which is rated at 3.5t and from what I've read, LR still happy sub 2t. Surely it's viable nodge.

Would anybody know, could I use the fixed towbar as a detachable? As in just use the centre piece?
Then could attach a ball and pin flange?
I'm only towing perhaps 350kg tops.

Looks like I'm back to this crappy thing off Amazon.
I'll also need to find something like that Dixon Bate ball & pin.
Well unless they do have a trailer
Not ideal but choice until I get it home at least.
Then i shall swap the hoop for a ball on the trailer. What a carry on.

The funny thing is I measured hire shop trailer through their fence this afternoon, they were closed.
When I went for a pint I saw manager in the pub.
Told him I might pop down next week as I couldn't get the hoop on my discovery ball.
He said unfortunately you didn't see the towing end of our...

My existing one is not even broke to my knowledge, but give never towed or had it checked.

Thanks discool, I didn't know that.
I'm surprised the lack of options out there and the price of...

Yep, that was what worried me. It's low isn't it. My disco already catches the floor at my mum's drive as it's steep too.
I believe LR had 2 options of fixed or removable dependant on customer towing habits.
It's a G4 option found in New Zealand web page but this looks tidy. Seems it would...

OK thanks anyway.
Does anybody have details or pictures of the tow bar LR fit?
Google seems difficult to search for the image as I don't know the bestv search term and am getting info on the recall more than the replacement options.

S
Bluedog, Do you think it would strap to this trailer, 1850mm internal width?
The strap locations look a bit naff just being x6 and nothing through the floor.

Should i call landrover regarding the recall than and is the following acceptable thing to do?
"What your Land Rover authorised repairer will do
Inspect the condition of the tow equipment using a gauge special tool. Where the gauge indicates excessive wear, install heavy duty multi-height...

It's a purpose built with equipment I really need. Causing me a headache trying to get this nato hitch connected.

Once I get it local, I can convert trailer to a ball I guess.
