    What Symptoms?

Ok, so as mine starts after 3 cranks but runs lumpy for about a minute and smokes, then clears and runs fine for the rest of the day could be a faulty glow plug? Can I test them without taking them out?

    leaky sunroof again!

Did you leave the rubber seal fitted and just fill the gap between the glass and frame with mastic? How long has this lasted?

    leaky sunroof again!

Having taken out completely my rear sunroof and re siliconed it back in on my 300Tdi Disco which cured that leak it has now started leaking through the glass to frame seal. Oil leak at dipstick tube

I have an oil leak which is at the base of the dipstick tube on my Classic Range Rover (approx 1977 block). Should there be an O ring under the retaining lip which the small forked retaining bracket pushes down on? Once the bracket is removed, should the tube just pull out? Any advice would be...

    Wetter inside than out

Hi There, Just had to re seal my rear sunroof. 1st I cofirmed where it was leaking with the aid of Gaffa tape by tapeing the glass to frame and found water was still getting in so did the frame to roof and that stopped it! Removed head lining, which wasn't as bad a job as I'd thought it...

Cheers for that. Guess I'll have to play by the rules then! Bizarre how many variations of opinion there are!!!!!!!!

    300Tdi Exhaust

I've asked 3 well respected garages now and they have all said the same thing. Ditch the cat! It'll save money, the car will go better with no detrimental effects and won't effect the MOT! I guess I'll try it!

    300Tdi Exhaust

That's interesting as "Twisted performance" and a local garage near to me say it's not a requirement for the MOT?!?!

    300Tdi Exhaust

It is about £260 for the front pipe from Paddocks. It should be a simple job, there are as I remember only 5 bolts (3 at the manifold end and 2 at the back join end) I guess the only time consuming bit might be getting the rubber mount back on.
